Zakaria Benamra

Zakaria Benamra

Zakaria Benamra is a clinical psychologist who graduated from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). Holder of a Master's degree in clinical psychology and psychopathology, he supports adolescents, young adults and adults facing various difficulties or questions affecting their psychological wellbeing. Consultations may address anxiety, stress, self-esteem, the management and understanding of emotions, relationship difficulties, life transitions, as well as personal or professional questions. His clinical approach is based on attentive listening and a comprehensive understanding of the person. Each psychological experience is considered within its context, taking into account personal history, environment, relationships and the unique way each person lives through and interprets events. Within a confidential, caring and non-judgmental setting, Zakaria BENAMRA offers a space to put lived experiences into words, understand their underlying mechanisms and progressively identify the personal resources one can draw on. Psychological support thus aims to help better understand one's own functioning, give meaning to what is being experienced, and foster a more peaceful relationship with oneself and one's environment. « Understanding what is happening within oneself does not necessarily change one's story. It can, however, transform the way one experiences it. »
