How it works

How your blood test works

1

Prepare the evening before

To ensure the reliability of your results, it is essential to come fasting, meaning not eating or drinking since the previous evening.

2

Arrive at reception

Present yourself at reception at the Centre Médical Léopold III between 8:00 and 9:30, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Bring your signed medical prescription, your identity card and your mutual insurance sticker.

3

The blood draw

Your blood test is performed by our qualified nurse in a dedicated, calm and fully equipped room. The draw typically takes 5 to 10 minutes. Our practitioners use gentle techniques to minimise discomfort, even for anxious patients or those with difficult veins.

4

Results transmission

Samples are sent to our accredited partner laboratory. Results are transmitted directly to your prescribing doctor, usually within 24 to 48 hours. You can also receive your results by secure electronic transmission upon request at reception.

Important reminder: A blood test must be prescribed by a doctor. Bring your signed prescription or the draw cannot be performed.
